Neue Galerie New York

Art museum in New York City

About

The Neue Galerie New York (German for "New Gallery") is a museum of early twentieth-century German and Austrian art and design on the Upper East Side of Manhattan in New York City. It is located in the William Starr Miller House at 86th Street and Fifth Avenue. Established in 2001, it is one of the most recent additions to New York City's Museum Mile, on Fifth Avenue. In 2026, the museum and the Metropolitan Museum of Art announced that the two institutions would merge in 2028.
